Who we are

This site is run by Olive and Arrows Group, doing business as Olive & Arrows. We broker existing power equipment between owners and buyers. If you have a question about this policy or your details, call Milan at (424) 283-2608 or email deals@oliveandarrows.com.

What the forms collect

The Sell and Buy forms ask for the following. Only your name and work email are required; everything else is up to you.

• Kind: whether you are selling or buying.
• Equipment: the type of unit, such as a gas turbine, transformer or genset.
• Size in MW.
• Location, US state and country.
• Timeline: when the unit is available, or when you need power.
• Message: anything else you choose to tell us.
• Name, work email, company, role and phone.
• An optional checkbox asking us to email you when a match comes up.

We also receive the basic technical details any website receives, such as the time of the request, so we can keep the forms free of spam.

Why we collect it

We use these details for two things: to reply to you about a possible deal, and to match units with the needs of buyers. We don't use them for anything unrelated to a deal.

Where it is kept

What you send goes into our own deal system. That system is hosted with Supabase and Vercel on servers in the United States. When a form comes in, a short alert with your name, company and message goes to our team through Telegram, so a broker can reply fast. Access is limited to the people at Olive & Arrows who work on deals.

Email updates

If you check the box on a form, we email you when a buyer or a unit that matches your request comes up. If you leave it unchecked, we don't. You can stop these emails at any time by replying to one of them or by writing to us at the address above.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to see which pages are read and how people find the site. It loads only after you click Accept on the cookie notice. If you decline, it doesn't load. Your choice is stored in your browser so we don't ask again on every page. You can change it at any time with Cookie settings in the footer.

Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We share it with the other side of a deal only after the steps described on How it works: a seller's name, site and serials go to a buyer only after a signed fee agreement and NDA, and a buyer's details go to a seller only with the buyer's agreement. We also share details when the law requires it, for example in response to a valid court order.

Sanctions checks

Before any introduction, we check the names of the people and companies involved against US sanctions lists. We do this to meet our legal duties, and we keep a record of the check.

How long we keep it

We keep your details for as long as there is a possible deal to discuss. If you ask us to delete them, we will, unless the law requires us to keep a record, such as a sanctions check or a signed agreement.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to show you the details we hold about you, to correct them, or to delete them. This applies to everyone. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, data protection law gives you these rights, and you can also complain to your local data protection authority. If you are a California resident, California law gives you the right to know, correct and delete your personal information, and we will not treat you differently for asking.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your details, we will update this page and change the date below. If the change is significant, we will say so on the site.
